Articles and review
What a RankJet article contains, what it is based on and how to review it
Every article targets one keyword and is written in your site's language. Before anything reaches your site you can read it, edit it or ask for changes, and nothing goes live on its own unless you turn that on.
What an article contains
- A title, meta title, meta description and page address (slug), all editable in the side panel
- An opening that answers the reader's question directly: the first heading is the question itself, and the paragraph under it is the answer
- Clear headings, numbered steps for anything the reader has to do, and comparison tables where they help
- Frequently asked questions at the end
- A main image and one image inside the article. Images never contain text; the caption and alt text carry the meaning
- Links to relevant pages on your own site. Articles never link to other websites
- A closing invitation to one of your goal pages, such as a service, product or contact page
What articles are based on
RankJet writes from what you tell it about your business, so the articles sound like you and carry facts only you have. These settings apply to every new article:
| Setting | Where | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Business context for content | Settings, Content tab | Your business description, main services, unique value, audience and audience traits |
| Business facts | Settings, Content tab | Prices, service area, experience, process, a real example and licences, used exactly as written. An empty field stays out |
| Reference documents | Settings, Content tab | Up to 3 documents (PDF, Word or text) used as background material |
| Goal pages | Settings, Articles tab | The pages where a customer books, buys or gets in touch. Each new article ends with an invitation to one of them |
| Article images | Settings, Articles tab | Images on or off, a visual style and your own instructions for what the images show |
To shape one article before it is written, click it on the calendar. Customize Upcoming Article lets you change the title, add a content briefing, attach a reference document and choose its goal page. Changes to these settings apply to new articles only.
Review and edit
- Edit manually opens the editor, with headings, lists, quotes, links, tables and images
- Edit with AI makes a change you describe, such as a shorter opening or another example. Images are edited separately. It has a monthly allowance, and the window shows how many edits are left
- Hover over an image to replace it, edit it with AI or remove it
- Publish sends the article to your connected site. Export options download it as Markdown, HTML or Word, or copy it
While Auto-publish after writing is off, nothing reaches your site until you click Publish. Read a few articles first, then turn it on in Autopilot and calendar.
