Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
1. General
This privacy policy explains what information RankJet ("we", "the Service") collects when you use the Service at rankjet.co and the application at app.rankjet.co, how we use it and how we protect it. Using the Service constitutes acceptance of this policy.
2. What information we collect
Account details: an email address and the basic identification details required to open and manage an account.
Connection data: when you connect Google Search Console, we store authorization tokens (refresh tokens) in encrypted form. When you connect a WordPress site, we store the application password in encrypted form. These details are used solely to operate the Service for you.
Content and site data: your site address, pages we crawl for internal linking, keywords, and the performance data you choose to connect.
Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect and do not store your full credit card details.
Usage data: technical information about how the Service is used (for example actions in the system, browser data and logs), for operation, security and improvement purposes.
3. The free keyword tool
The free keyword checking tool is open to use without registration and without an account. When you run a check, we store the phrase you searched for together with the results of that check, so that we can show the same results faster the next time, and to anyone who searches for the same phrase after you.
Your IP address is used in this tool for abuse prevention only, and is stored solely as a one-way hash value (a fingerprint). We do not store the address itself, and it cannot be reconstructed from the stored value.
You do not need to provide a name, an email address or any other identifying detail in order to use the tool.
4. How we use the information
We use the information in order to provide and operate the Service, to discover keywords, to generate and publish content for you, to charge for the subscription, to support you, to secure the system and to improve the product.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your account details, your content or the site data you connect for advertising.
On the public marketing site (rankjet.co), and only there, advertising network measurement tools are active, which allow us to measure campaigns and to show ads to people who have already visited the site. These tools do not run in the application itself (app.rankjet.co) and are not exposed to your content. Full details in section 7.
5. Information from Google (Search Console)
RankJet accesses, stores and uses your Google Search Console data solely in order to provide and improve user-facing features that are prominent in the interface of the Service (such as keyword discovery and ranking data). We do not use this data for other purposes and we do not use it for advertising.
We do not transfer information received from Google to third parties, except in the following cases: in order to provide or improve user-facing features (with your consent), for security purposes, in order to comply with the requirements of the law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (subject to your prior consent).
RankJet's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The full policy is available at https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy
6. Sharing information with third parties
We use service providers that process information on our behalf and for the purpose of operating the Service only, among them: Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), artificial intelligence model providers for generating the content, and monitoring and analytics tools such as PostHog and Sentry.
In addition, on the public marketing site only, we use Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) for measurement and advertising purposes. Meta acts here as an independent data controller and not only as a data processor on our behalf, and therefore its use of the information is also subject to its own privacy policy.
We may disclose information if we are required to do so by law or by a court order, or in order to protect our rights and the integrity of the Service.
7. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies in order to operate sign-in, to save preferences and to analyze use of the Service. Cookies can be managed through your browser settings, but blocking them may impair some of the features.
The public marketing site (rankjet.co) has the Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms installed. It collects cookie identifiers, IP address and technical information about the browser and about the pages viewed, so that we can measure the performance of advertising campaigns and show ads to people who have already visited the site. It is not installed in the application (app.rankjet.co) and it has no access to your content, your keywords or your site data.
You can limit or turn off personalized advertising through the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, through your browser settings, or by using an extension that blocks tracking cookies.
8. Information security
We take accepted measures to protect the information. Sensitive secrets such as Google authorization tokens and WordPress application passwords are stored encrypted, and access to data is restricted at the user and organization level.
That said, no system is entirely immune, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data retention
We retain the information for as long as your account is active and as required in order to provide the Service. After the account is closed we will delete or de-identify personal information within a reasonable period, except for information we are required to retain by law (for example for accounting purposes).
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to review your personal information, to correct it or to delete it, and you may disconnect connections to third-party services at any time through the account settings. Requests on this matter can be sent to us at the address listed below.
11. International transfers of information
RankJet is run as a Canadian business, and the Service relies on providers that operate outside Israel (among others in Canada and in the United States). Information may therefore be processed and stored in other countries.
While the information is in a foreign country, it may be accessible to the law enforcement authorities, the courts and the security authorities of that country, in accordance with local law.
We remain responsible for the information transferred to these providers, and we act through contractual and other means in order to ensure a comparable level of protection. By using the Service you agree to this transfer.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. In the event of a material change, reasonable notice will be given, and continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
13. Contact us
RankJet has appointed a person responsible for compliance with privacy protection principles. For questions, for requests (to review, correct or delete information) or for complaints regarding privacy, you can contact us at support@rankjet.co.
