description: Your site health score, the fixes it lists and how to apply them
---

**Site health** checks the technical side of your site that decides whether Google and AI search engines can find, read and show your pages. It gives the site a score and lists the fixes in order of importance. It runs on its own, with nothing to set up.

## The score

The score runs from 0 to 100, with a short verdict under it: **In good shape**, **Room to improve** or **Needs attention**. Only problems that hurt how your site is found lower it. Opportunities, and issues you mark as not relevant, never change the score.

RankJet checks your site soon after you sign up, again a few days later and then about once a month. The page shows when it last checked and the date of the next check. Connecting Search Console, or changing how your site serves customers, starts a new check. With Search Console connected, Site health also checks whether Google has added your important pages, and a missing one lowers the score.

## What it looks at

The checks look at whether search engines and AI crawlers can reach, read and understand your pages, and at anything that keeps a page out of the results. If one problem blocks Google from the whole site, the page shows that fix alone, with no score until it is fixed.

Some checks depend on your kind of business, so RankJet asks **How does this site serve customers?** Tick what this site does: customers come to you, you serve specific areas, or you sell online on the site. If none of these fit, choose **None of these**.

## Fix cards

**Fix these first** holds the fixes that matter most. Each card opens to show:

- The problem in plain words, and why it matters
- The pages it affects
- How to fix it: steps for Shopify or WordPress (with Yoast, Rank Math or neither), or a ready prompt to paste into your site builder, your coding assistant or your developer. The prompt is in your app language and already lists the pages
- For other platforms, a link to that platform's own guide to the fix

1. Open the first card and read what to change
2. Follow the steps on your site, or paste the prompt into your builder or coding assistant
3. Click **Check again** on the card. A site behind a cache can take a few minutes to show the change

**Copy all fixes** copies every fix in order, ready to hand to a developer or an AI tool. **Show all** lists every open issue grouped by area. **Not relevant to me** hides an issue that does not apply to your site, where that is allowed, and hidden issues can be restored in one click.

## During the trial

> During your trial the fixes under **Fix these first** are fully open: pages, steps, prompts and **Check again**. Every other issue is listed by name and page count, and its details open when your trial ends and the first payment goes through.

## Email updates

After a scheduled check where something changed, RankJet emails you the new score, what was fixed and what to fix first. Turn these emails off in **Settings**, on the **Articles** tab, under **Site health emails**.
